Like Turkish PM Erdogan; and millions around the world, I am sick of Israeli lies and sick of Israel.

When the Turkish prime minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan, stood up in the Turkish parliament yesterday and said,
"Israel cannot clean the blood off its hands through any excuse, it is no longer possible to cover up or ignore Israel's lawlessness.”
He went on,
“Israel must immediately lift the inhuman embargo on the people of Gaza. They should not try to stop the humanitarian aid to the Palestinian people.”
“To slay innocent people, to treat civilians like terrorists is degradation in the eyes of humanity and wretched recklessness.”
“World peace has received a major blow. The reckless, unlawful attack by the Israeli government must be punished.”

“We are sick and tired of your [Israel] lies.”
When he spoke these last words all Turks would have noticed Erdogan slowly and exactly tugged on the lapels of his jacket, with this gesture he was telling his fellow citizens, he had had enough of Israel, “I am sick of Israeli lies and I am sick of Israel. (In Turkish culture such a hand gesture means “I am sick of it, or I am sick of you")
For the Turkish Prime Minister to make such a gesture he is sending a clear message after this Israeli act of piracy, all has changed as far as Israel is concerned, by gunning down and imprisoning members of an aid convoy on the high seas, Israel has finally placed itself beyond the pale for all to see; and I am certain Erdogan is not alone in now having concluded this.
If any thing, Israel’s response to this murderous act has only reinforced the anger millions and millions of people around the world now feel towards the Zionist State. For instead of recognizing and taking full responsibility for such a foul act, the Israeli State set Mark Regev upon the worlds media to convince them black was white, and what happened was not an Israel government sponsored massacre of innocents, but the fault of Israel’s victims.
On listening to Israel's very own version of Saddam’s press spokesman Comical Ali, my first thought was keep digging Ali. There is no crime to great which Regev Ali will not find an excuse for. State sponsored murder carried out by Mossad members using stolen UK and Irish passports, dropping phosphorus bomb and shells on Palestinian civilians and now piracy on the high seas. All of which are against international law.
Regev Ali’s attempt to smear the aid workers who were on board the aid ship the Mavi Marmara as terrorists was pathetic, he produced a photo of every day tools that any ships crew would use, spanners, monkey wrench, hammer, anchor and lifting chains and a large pile of Keffiyeh scarfs. I kid you not, for in the warped and poisoned mind set of this Israeli administration bureaucrat, wearing a Keffiyeh is a sign of being a terrorist. Which would be news to the thousands of youngsters who wear them in London, Paris and New York as a fashion statement, or as a sign of solidarity with the oppressed Palestinian people.
Indeed one only has to hear Regev Ali’s on BBC TV attempting to smear Turkey as an Islamic extremist State, to understand the Israeli political elite, whether Avoda, (Labour Party) Likud, or Kadima, have descended into a hysterical way of thinking, which encompasses islamophobia and seeing all who do not agree with they’re every act as enemies to be destroyed. When backed into a corner or facing a difficult problem, they strike out militarily, seeing the use of violence as a first option, when it should be the last.
They do not care how many lives they destroy, nor how many international laws they break.

For they believe they have only god to answer too; and they tag others as religious extremists and bigots.
I for one are sick of Israeli lies and in truth, I am sick of Israel.

The media spin is in full force in the US and in other parts of the world... Here in the US we are hearing words like "terrorist", "they were not piece activists but had ulterior motives of violence", "the IDF soldiers were attacked", "the IDF soldiers were defending themselves".... so on and so forth.... US is in a bubble once again, kept far far away from reality...

One thing that concerns me is that, Erdogan may take this to the next level... As a Turkish citizen, I am very uncomfortable with that.... War and aggression will never solved anything.... As we all know...

I also see that the Arab and European world will abandon Erdogan like a hot potato once it gets all a bit out of hand.... Turkey may find themselves isolated....

Erdogan is a hot headed idiot sometimes.... He has known to loose his cool... I don't trust him or his administration, even though I find his actions pretty ballsy when it comes to Gaza and Israeli blockade....

As a secularist I understand some of your fears about Erdogan, but on this issue he is speaking for many beyond Turkey. I feel at this stage the US is so prejudiced against Muslims they are willing to believe almost any nonsense the Israeli State tells them. Making it part of the problem not the solution.

I do not fear Turkey going to war over this, what is needed is another flotilla, this time made up of hundreds of boats, based on the armada of little ships that went from England to Dunkirk in WW2, to bring members of the British and French army home to England so they could fight the nazi's on another day.

Beside larger naval vessels, tugs, pleasure craft, fishing boats and the like entered dangerous waters in the struggle against Nazi injustice.

If this blockade of Gaza is not ended soon it could spread war across a region that has already seen more than its share of blood shed. It is for the common people to act, Europe and the med, is full of the type of vessels I have aforementioned and the men and women to sail them.

I see we are indeed in broad agreement. Lets hope this latest outrage, condemned by almost everyone, will make the Israelis realise their 'spin machine' no longer has any effect. Even the Americans must know that! Mossad has said they fear Israel is becoming a burden to the US, and Mossad is right...
